Knee-hi yes, knee-hi no

There were the 90's, where it seemed necessary to wear the knee to be fashionable. At the beginning of 2000, the knee-hi became the chief anti-man par excellence, and so every woman, claiming her femininity, started to forget them in the drawer.

Today, they seem to get back to the top of fashion designer collections and street style in general, perhaps accomplices to the new generations who did not experience the "repudiation knee" era. The truth is that the knee-hi, in addition to being a functional cloth, especially in mid-season, can become an interesting jolly accessory, just know how to match it!

Great classics are with skirt and boots or, revisited in grunge style, with skirt and low shoe. The stars use it also with shorts and “francesina”, all very colorful, but we see some advice for a complete outfit ...

1 - Imitate collegiate style

Half-thigh dress - plain color for the essentials, prince of Wales / tartan for the most extravagant - knee and bon ton shoe - which can be a “mary-jane” or a “francesina” ... accessory top white collar.

2 - Play with the layers

When the cold starts to feel open by opening the closet we wear a trusted boot with skirt or dress. The idea is to break with a knee of a different tonality but still in nuances with the rest of the outfit. If you prefer ton sur ton, the advice is to mix denatures: a microfiber knee over a sheer tights, maybe off, will create a really interesting game of contrasts.

3 – Like a sock

The sock has been depopulating in recent years and we are used to seeing it worn at all times. A nice idea is to bring the lower leg down to the ankle, the optical effect is that of a sock but with more volume. In this way, occasional use increases, from low ankle boots to high-heeled sandals.

4 – Evening cloth

High heel, adherent tubular dress that shapes the body in the most feminine way that it can exist, no matter the color, the important thing is that it just comes right to the knee. It may look weird, but the knee, here, is really good!
